It is a tropical paradise thanks to its beautiful sunsets, tropical beaches, pristine coral reefs, and breathtaking landscape. The island nation of Indonesia is situated in the Ring of Fire, a zone bordered by volcanoes. Over time, this series of volcanic eruptions shaped the landscape in unique ways and enriched the soil and sea, resulting in the unrivalled greenery and marine life we see today.
There’s always something exciting to do in Indonesia. You can opt to experience the laid-back, slow-paced Indonesian lifestyle on the island’s beaches or go on an exciting scuba diving excursion to discover the pristine coral reefs and marine life of some of the islands’ many distinct ecosystems. On top of that, there are many active, dormant, and inactive volcanoes to be explored as well.
Many travellers choose to vacation in Bali since it is the most popular location in Indonesia, but there are many other hidden gems which are yet to be discovered. In a country like Indonesia, where there are more than 17,000 islands to discover, one lifetime would not be nearly enough. There are countless islands with kilometres of golden beaches, crystal clear lakes, and lush tropical forests that have been largely unspoiled by human hands, making them ideal for nature lovers.
While Indonesia is known for its lush vegetation and cutting-edge city life, it still has a fascinating traditional and spiritual side, thanks to the numerous ethnic groups that reside there. These ethnic groups speak a variety of languages, continue to follow their native rituals and customs, and dress according to their ethnic heritage.

Highlights Of Indonesia
These are some of the places we would choose for our holiday in Indonesia. If you don’t see your desired attraction here, just know that we can still plan it for you.

Sumba Island
Sumba is sometimes called Indonesia’s “Forgotten Island”. Surfers and explorers have known about this hidden gem for years, but most travellers have no idea that it is merely an hour’s flight from Bali, Indonesia’s most popular destination. Over here, it’s a more serene option than Bali. Sumba is a fantastic vacation spot since it caters to every type of outdoor and nature enthusiast. There are countless ways to get in touch with nature and the elements here, whether you worship the sun, are drawn to the sea, or enjoy a good stroll by the beach. A fascinating aspect of this place is the significance that horses play. You will enjoy the rare opportunity to ride native Sumbawa and Sandalwood horses across the different landscapes of West Sumba and even swim in the ocean with their equine companions.
Sumba is best known for surfing, thanks to Occy’s Left, the iconic wave at Nihi Sumba. The excellent waves there are worth the experience for many surfers who travel from all over the world to do so. Sun and sea aside, cultural enthusiasts also have the opportunity to explore megalithic tombs sprinkled throughout the countryside, where people pay tribute to their indigenous marapu with sacrificial rites. The island also provides an opportunity to learn about the history of Ikat production in the traditional way.
Yogyakarta & Borobudur
It’s no secret that Yogyakarta is one of Indonesia’s most visited cities, known for its thriving traditional art and cultural legacy. It’s the cultural heart and soul of Java, which is bursting at the seams with ancient history, art, and tradition. From palaces to the famous batik fabrics and silver jewellery made locally to galleries and museums showcasing both traditional Javanese art and modern pieces, it’s a city for those who live and breathe art.
The area is located in Central Java and is also home to the renowned Borobudur complex as well as Prambanan. Out of all of them, the Borobudur Temple is, without a doubt, one of the most well-known sights in Yogyakarta. The Buddhist temple dates back to the 9th century, during the height of the religion’s popularity in the archipelago; it features a large central dome surrounded by more than 70 stupas, each housing an image of the Buddha. Many culture enthusiasts flock to Indonesia from all over the world just to witness this beautiful work of architecture in person.

Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat is a breathtakingly beautiful and secluded archipelago in Indonesia. Located in Indonesia’s West Papua, this archipelago consists of several islands, reefs, and atolls bordered by clear blue waters. In fact, it is the only place on Earth where one-third of the world’s coral species may be found. As you can imagine, the marine life here is fascinating. You can go swimming, snorkelling, and diving, among other water sports, to your heart’s content.
Those who are not into water activities can explore the highly endangered Bird-of-paradise, which is only one of several exotic bird species that make their home in this region. During your trek on Komodo Island, you have a good chance of spotting these amazing animals, in addition to monkeys and several bird species. Moreover, this area is home to a wide variety of secluded yet stunning beaches, perfect for unwinding and having fun.

Bali
Known for its stunning beaches, delicious food, and kind hospitality, this charming island is perhaps Indonesia’s most well-known destination internationally. Home to a number of amazing landmarks, such as the Tanah Lot and Uluwatu temples, it also offers excellent surfing conditions and stunning beaches. Temples, ruins, dolphin swims, and souvenir shopping are just some of the various activities available in Bali.
Central Bali is a less explored area filled with high peaks, mountain passes, or winding valley roads. Here, visitors can take in breathtaking panoramas of the mountains and rice paddies, as well as explore the area’s volcanic lakes, tropical woods, waterfalls, and streams. Furthermore, the rice paddies are recognised as a UNESCO Heritage Site, known for its thousand-year-old irrigation systems that are still flowing today.
Be sure to add a stop in Ubud, Bali’s cultural epicentre. It is the ideal location to take in a variety of traditional acts, such as the infamous Kecak fire dance or neighbourhood kids practising their gamelan in the town hall. At Uluwatu, on the southern shore, is where you’ll find the luxurious villas perched precariously on the edge of the cliffs, the best spots for a romantic honeymoon of exclusive getaway. The cliffs here offer one of the most pleasing vantage points of the Indian Ocean in the vicinity and will leave you spellbound and in awe of Mother Nature.
